The Ronald McDonald house service project

This was loads of fun girls. I had tons of fun making fruit salad. Good job on your pineapple cutting skills Kate. You were awesome. I have to say also...Emily Jodi were the best watermelon cutters I have ever come across.I am wondering...Karen, do your fingers still smell like onion and garlic? LOL. The marinated salads looked soooo yummy. I need to get that recipe and I will post it on the site. Thanks for all your hard work. I really enjoyed this experience with you all.

Making chocolates for Fathers day

Easy Caramels

Ingredients:

golden corn syrup 1 cup

brown sugar 2 cups

butter 1 cup

sweetened, condensed milk 1 can

Directions:

Heat ingredients together in an electric frying pan on highest heat. Boil, stirring constantly until desired stiffness is reached in cold water or 250 degrees at the most. Pour into a well-greased 9 X 13 inch pan.

These chocolates were SOOOOO yummy. I know the fathers loved recieving these chocolates for Fathers Day at church. I heard sooo many of them go on and on about them. thanks to all who helped make them, and a big thanks to Cindy who taught everyone how to make them. There is nothing Cindy can not do..
